Description: This course will focus on the challenges and common pitfalls—both for patients and hospitals—related to wound care. The five course modules describe the most recent information about the pathophysiology of acute and chronic wounds, their risk factors, the symptoms of each, and treatment options. The course also covers the role of the case manager in wound care with respect to management, application of cost control and quality-of-care techniques.

Business goals: After completing this course, case managers can reasonably forecast:
