CV Risk: Epidemiology Data
For the past 80 years heart disease has been the leading cause of death in the U.S. as well as substantial expenditures. Screening for coronary artery disease begins in compiling and reviewing data that identifies patterns of occurrences, incidences of the disease and death rates. What are these three parts that make up the epidemiology data?

Rheumatoid Arthritis: Diagnostic Phase
A number of tests to help assess if a person has rheumatoid arthritis are commonly used in the diagnostic phase. X-rays of selected joints serve as the baseline assessment and confirmation based on the joint exams. Further testing includes blood test – ESR and CRP - are done to selectively determine the presence of inflammation. What test is also utilized to help determine the severity of rheumatoid arthritis?

Well, that all depends on how I look at them and which ones takes precedence over the others. I do know which ones need to be done first – that’s pretty obvious. The question now is: what is the best us of my time right now? The answer will come when you look at your list. Now go and do it!

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has set in motion new restrictions to ensure drug safety by focusing on both post marketing realms as well as pre-market requirements. Accountability, timelines and project management will be applicable for the new initiative as outlined in the FDA’s Amendments Act of 2007.
