Behavioral Health: Children & Adolescents
Symptoms expressed by children and adolescents vary based on their developmental stage, which may contribute to their acting out or being irritable towards others. Signs associated with them can include: headaches, muscle aches, tiredness, as well as outbursts, talking of running away from home and reckless behaviors. Parents often do not identify major depression in their adolescents. Prompt identification and treatment of depression in children/adolescents can reduce its duration and severity.

CM Walk
When was the last time you received some type of recognition or reward for your hard work and dedication to the job? While this may not be a regular event, this serves to reinforce your good performance. Simple types of recognitions could include: receiving a cyberized E-card, naming something in your honor, or even introducing you to a customer, vendor rep or even the CEO. After all, silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone.

The true scope of this tragedy is the death toll is high, the symptoms are familiar and often the diagnoses are late and make it deadly. Attached is a brochure from the Lung Cancer Alliance with all the facts and options available to help educate and offer support for people directly affected by lung cancer.

“A National Coalition Outlines a Plan for Health Care Reform”
Healthcare continues to rank high on the minds of most people in the U.S for any number of reasons. Legislators are working towards offering their plans for the next Administration and Congress. Businesses are voicing their opinions and participating in community forums for a say in where the country may head. Blogs, social networks, and the public at-large are offering their versions of experiences, disappointments and opinions. While the economy is stumbling along and has touched everyone to some degree, a coalition of 28 national organizations have joined together to address and encourage a new forward-leaning agenda that focuses on ways to reduce – lower costs for providers, medical groups and insurers. Check it out and stay tuned to the newest public focus. There is more to come and will affect case management services.
