Colorectal Cancer: Benefits of Treatment
A patient with colorectal cancer that has been treated with chemotherapy and it does not recur within five (5) years, can be considered cured. These cancers rarely come back after five years. Stage 1, 2, 3 cancers are considered potentially curable but in most cases, Stage 4 is not curable. Patients rarely live beyond five years with one half of patients with treatment living between 1-2 years.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: Physical Findings
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease and is characterized by new bone formation at the articular surface. There are no signs of inflammation in OA. It may involve three or more joints, such as the PIP joints of the hand, knees, spine and the first MTP of the foot. Tenderness, crepitus, joint space narrowing, as well as osteophytes can be some of the features of osteoarthritis.

Staying positive, focusing on doing the right thing isn’t easy, and helping make another person’s life better is what reflects your discipline, commitment and courage.
